My dressage sets are live show proven having won the performance championship at the Model Horse Society live show 2004 (UK), and also multi-NAN qualified. Dressage saddles can be made in a traditional style or a modern style which is more ergonomic and stylish. Numerous different leather combinations can be used, including full-grain calf leather, super smooth calf leather, suede or a combination. Available colours include classic black, havana (very dark brown), dark brown or medium brown, or a combination. All dressage saddle feature a deep seat, long straight flaps, soft knee rolls, long girth billets, recessed stirrup bars and fully adjustable stirrup leathers. Extras can include a flap strap to prevent the saddle flap from sticking out and moving, fully hand-sewn panelling, additional thigh rolls or a Y-shaped billet system. Dressage girths are short and are lined with soft leather, have fully working buckles and can have an elasticated insert. My dressage bridles feature wide, padded nosebands and browbands, which can be raised and lined in matching or contrasting leather. All buckles are fully working with tongues and complement the hole-punched straps for ease of adjustment. Even the lip strap on a weymouth bridle has a working buckle on it. The reins and cheekpieces have hookstud or buckle fastenings onto the bit so you can change it. I use cast bits and the bridles can be made in snaffle or double style.
