Other Tack

2007 NAN donation, a Argentinean Gaucho tack set. This consists of a padded leather saddle which is treeless, with several other leather and cloth blankets underneath and covered with a sheepskin pad. The bridle and halter are hand-braided and made entirely from leather, with a customised cast bit. The girth is attached via a leather plate to which the leather stirrups are also attached. The girth was made by Doreen McGuire and the embriodered saddle pad was made by Ingrid Matte.
