Costumes basically include any set of tack that isn't 'english', so you never know what you may find on this page! I love making unusual and cultural sets, and regularly make Peruvian, Iberian and Medieval tack. All of my costumes are always fully researched to ensure accuracy. I use top quality materials making these pieces last for years to become treasured pieces of anyone's collection. Peruvian tack can be made at several levels of decoration, and may feature tooling, braiding and handmade silver plaits. All the headgear is hand-braided and fully adjustable. I make them to fit the Breyer Peruvian Paso as standard, but can make them to fit other sized models, right down to SM scale. Iberian tack includes a variety of different styles from the Vaquero through to Portuguese Bullfighting. I always use examples of real Iberian tack for my inspiration. Medieval tack has been my most recent, but highly successful, venture. Again, various different styles can be produced, from a full set of armour through to medieval side-saddles, jousting outfits etc. I hand-tool all of the armour plates using a malleable yet stiff metal, and line them with soft chamois leather to prevent them scratching valuable paintwork. I am open to suggestions with costumes - you can do your own research on various tack from different cultures, and ask me to produce something very accurately, or you can give me a project title, say 'Italian', and I will produce something representing that culture, to fit your model.
